A Really Really Quick Gallery Tour: Contemporary CGI
Home/Change Series
Like the other two gallery tours, this one provides a really really quick overview of the entire gallery, one page per series.
This tour covers my holdings from 1999 to the present, when studios changed over from painted cels to scanned and colorized digital images. Many collectors regret the loss of these colorful artifacts, but the truth is that anime continued to produce artistically memorable series, based on the same techniques and devotion to craft as before.
The text below the image contains tiles which, if clicked, will lead you to the galleries where you can browse my holdings in this specific area. I've given some basic information on the history and background of each series, and some of my reasons for choosing to collect art from it.
See it all! But then take time to explore and appreciate.
