Step 17: Tying and Untying. Cuts 84, 88, 91. Noelle has just learned about the red string that connects lovers' pinkies, but as soon as she ties one to Yuusuke, Muse, arriving late to school, runs over it with her camel-driven carriage. They are crushed when the string breaks, but Sensei cheers them up by telling them that the real string is magic and will never break, a phrase they two join hands and happily chant together.
(Nevertheless, Sensei is telling Muse, please don't drive your camels into the classroom any more...)
