Here the baddie of the week opens her mouth and seems to rear back, possible to blow her magical toad-making spit at another potential victim. This image gives a good view of this character’s elaborate outfit, especially the prominent horns, typical signs of a black akuma and perhaps also an allusion to the horned headdress shown in the famous 16th-century painting “The Ugly Dutchess” by Flemish artist Quentin Matsys.
The set includes a nice shuusei genga by the episode’s animation director, Satoru Iriyoshi .
