Then she slams them back down, not on the table (or the animated dishes, soy sauce dispenser, etc. would need to tremble) but around her precious bowl of instant soup.
The genga worked out Mayuko’s furious open-mouth expression on this sketch, but as you see she doesn’t open it until the next frame. An extra set of dougas let her hair locks settle after the move.
