Cut 197. Sakura tries to use the sealing wand to control the giant tree, which works for a moment, but almost at once the creeping branches are back at work. The three retreat upstairs to a outside deck (with a drying rack for hanging laundered cloths, we see). First Kero takes up position by the railing, the house’s roof visible behind.
Then Tomoyo and Sakura join him. But they can’t go any further: they’re trapped!
This layout came with a copy rough (probably second-generation) that I’ve added in the first thumb. The second thumb gives an uncropped scan of the background so you can get a better sense of how the artist put it together from pools and brush strokes of color.
