Ep. 1, cut 202. The two magical helpers inspect Sakura’s now blank Cards on a low table and exchange opinions on what might have happened.
Featured above is a copy of a nice layout/genga of Yue, crouching on the floor of his house, considering the situation. It is surprisingly full of his waist and knees, considering that this part of his body would be completely hidden under the book layer that provided the coffee table on which the cards are spread.
The thumbnail adds the art board for this cut, which was used by the background artist in making the watercolor. It is also a photocopy in base but with the lines heavily overcast with holograph graphite, and also heavily creased to make guide lines on the background sheet. The red lettering on the top is also in holograph red marker pen. The second thumb gives a closer look so you can spot the holograph over-lining and the impress of the creases.
