Episode 9, cut 55. On her way to her first real one-on-one date with Syaoran, Sakura goes through a romantic reverie because of the day’s absolutely perfect weather. Suddenly she stops, afraid that she’s wasting too much time and will make her partner wait. (She’s twelve minutes early but her date, also anxious not to miss the date, is already there waiting.)
This background image was done with a “book” layer, as Sakura visibly walks into the frame between the tree on the left and the high wall on the right. I've digitally clipped and pasted the book layer onto a scan of the larger background, and you can see unaltered scans of both sheets in the two thumbnails.
As with cut 46, the image of this background was visibly blurred to create the illusion of distance between it and the featured Sakura layer.
