The perspective shifts to Natsuki for a longish interval (cuts 53-55), and when we rejoin the others (cut 56), they are visibly made uncomfortable by this emotional leave-taking. Batanan and Tommy simply pull back their celebration and sprout teardrops, while Sakura slumps back in her chair in a bit of a sulk. (It’s her home town they’re going to visit, so she expected nothing less than gleeful anticipation.)
She’s not beyond snarfing down another bit from the hotpot as she goes into her sulk, a bit you can see in the reanimation.
