Fuu releases the arrow and watches its flight with narrowed, professional eyes. Yep, on the mark.
The A2 genga (again substantially darkened in the scan) is featured above. The moment when she releases the bowstring was important enough to merit a planned inbetweener, labeled Aア [Aa], which I add in the first thumb. A second sketch, labeled Aイ [Ai] works out the whoosh image that would represent the blurred arrow as it speeds out of the frame. This moment was obviously important to Gotoh to get right, and other yellow-paper sketches (not imaged) not only plan this whooshy but provide a shuusei for Fuu’s opened hand in the inbetweener.
