Tale 4, cut 63. In a dream-like episode in the N-Field, Elder Jun succeeds in reassembling Shinku’s temporary body, which she needs to escape Kirakishou’s power and begin to liberate her sisters. At the start of this episode, he awakens to find the completed doll lying in its case beside him. Prompted by her Rosa Mystica, he realizes that in order to awaken Shinku in her new body, he must reconsider his earlier decision of “Won't wind”. In this cut, we see him insert the key to “rewind” the Maiden in her new alternative existence.

This episode was one of three outsourced to the Korean studio Hanjin Animation. (Art from the other two [8 and 12] will be seen later on). This is prominent Korean studio that has been involved in making a number of important anime series, among them Bleach and Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee. Animation direction was shared by two of Hanjin’s prominent artists, Bum-Chul Chang and Hye-Ran Shin. However, the sketch set did not preserve any of the roughs or genga shuuseis, and the dougas, while a complete set, were all partials (Jun’s hand with the key, Shinku’s head and upper body, Shinku’s lower body and Jun’s other hand).
So I have imaged only the two gengas, with the A1/B1 featured above and the A2/B2 (showing Shinku’s upper body shifting a little as Jun inserts the key) in the first thumb. The second adds a complete layout sketch, unfortunately damaged a little by being trimmed, then attached to a new set of registration holes to shift the image slightly to the left in the frame.
