And this is the end key, with Mayuko now looking sideways at Chiaki.
As with the previous item, the much simpler rough and genga are added in the thumbs. You can begin to see why this apparently simple cut caused so much chatter at the layout level. Watch how the two keyframes relate to each other in this simple flicker:
Watch that nose and chin turn slightly: no wonder there was concern that, logically, you’d see a trace of eyelashes. Move ahead one more and watch the dougas in a reanimation to see the total effect.
