Cut 81. During the first round of her Alice Game combat with her arch-enemy Suigintou, Shinku deflects a volley of crow-feather bullets with crossed fists, then braces, preparing a counterattack.

Featured is Kimiko Tamai’s fine rough, as always strong on composition and drama. Shinku is all business, like a seasoned boxer, quickly recovering from the hit she’s absorbed and watching her opponent for any weakness she can exploit.
Ishii’s partial “shuusei no shuusei” (first thumb) however finds one more layer of intensity in the eyes, adds more petals to the rose in her bonnet, and spends quite a bit of time making Shinku’s hands look more human and less doll-like. Notice especially how both pinkies are flexed in an anatomically realistic way.
The second thumb adds a less finished layout of the A1 pose at the start of this cut.
