Cut 70. Actually, the hike up the mountains is more tiring than Shōko planned on. Part-way up, she pauses during a steep ascent, winded and unsure whether to go through with the hike. Then she looks up and sees Hiro offering her a hand up.
This set, for some reason, was missing the A1 END genga, so I’ve featured instead the douga. The thumbs add the layout, which gives a sense of this scene’s Rocky Mountain setting, and the rough, which seems to be Iwakura’s work (more detailed work, greeting on bottom right).

Ah, so this scene mirrors the one with Tetsu and Karada-chan climbing to the secret spring, of which we were reminded by the episode’s opening scene. And so the two sets of mismatched lovebirds are more similar than we might originally have thought? Nicely planned.
