Scene 15, cut 6. She alertly steps just over Cute Kitty (who stays put, gazing up and trusting entirely in Maron’s magical-girl powers). But in catching her balance she stumbles sideways and bumps her backside into an elderly artist who’s painting a pretty landscape of a field of flowers. She’s properly embarrassed, but the gentleman is not bothered in the least.
The sketches in this set too are extraordinarily pretty in showing the frozen action of Maron’s surprising graceful stumble-and-bump. Featured above is the B4 genga, showing the moment of contact, with Kagawa’s rough in the first thumb and another graceful genga, the A3, from just before she lands.
Notice that the tiny teardrop Maron had almost managed to work up in the previous set has already dried up completely in this one!
