The top of this cel indicates that it was used in Episode 19. It seems to show the poor miniature bean-beetle cyborg somehow stuck in a quicksand or swampy place and, in the usual way, waiting impatiently to be saved by his parents. Sequence number: B1.
For the age of this cel, its trace lines have held up surprisingly well. I’ve accommodated the way Mamezo’s legs seem to disappear partway down by constructing a makeshift “mud puddle” out of two pieces of art paper.
