Then she tilts her head in the direction of the fuss going on behind her, adding nonchalantly, “Oh, it looks like someone swiped the wishing stone out of the shrine.”

Start looking at the genga version, featured above, and again take time to look also at the two previous ones in the thumbs. Masahiro Fujii’s rough (first thumb) is very rough (notice it gets her hair wrong) and makes Kotomi look surprisingly uncomfortable about discussing the subject. Ikuko Itō’s shuusei rough (second thumb) is almost completely opposite, showing her almost cheerful as she dismisses the topic as just a trivial, meaningless hub-bub. “Folks around her just don’t have anything else to talk about,” she goes on to say, dismissively.
Now look again at the genga. It exactly splits the difference. The expression is cheerful, even flippant – but what’s with that eyebrow on the left?
