The first episode concludes with Matogi taking Miku and Mimika to the beach. Trouble soon follows, though. Here Mimika is looking nervously at a bunch of potential baddies who have accosted the girls. She’s also hoping that they don’t guess where she’s hidden the water balloons she’d brought along for self-defense. Sequence number: B5 (key). This image comes in at about 18:00. Originally it was accompanied by a cel of Miku trying to get the over-solicitous guys to stop following them.
Fascinating the way neither Mikami nor Mimika ever takes off those fancy gloves with the conspicuous double cuffs, though they change color from white to black during the personality shifts.
