In her first attack, Koshka uses her claws to good advantage, ripping open Mikami’s blouse and inflicting some livid scratches. This would embarrass a normal female street fighter, especially as the bout is taking in front of a huge audience. But rabbits normally defend themselves against rivals and predators without benefit of clothing, so Mikami is not fazed in the slightest. When Koshka tries the same move a second time, this streetwise bunny girl is ready for her. Sequence number: A5 (key). This image appears at about 16:51.
The terrific pose shows how physical hand-to-hand battle skills neutralize Koshka’s apparent weaponry advantage. Ducking the attack, Mikami has grabbed her opponent’s right arm and uses the cat-girl’s forward momentum to twist it behind her shoulder. The sharp pain distracts Koshka, so the fierce bunny-girl is just about to grab her left arm as well, making the other set of claws useless, and trapping her opponent in an excruciating position.
Yes, yes, it’s hentai (and there’s a “first time” even for an aging Sensei). But more importantly, it’s dynamic, exciting, and (for the most part) anatomically credible as a frozen instant in a fight scene.
