Kitarō 4, Episode 56 [The Freezer Ghost, Yukinko!], cut 24-3. This brief cut consisted of a couple of images of this familiar companion of Kitarō, “Crybaby Grandpa.” Mizuki based this character on a Tokushima Prefecture legend about a mysterious baby, whom travelers found alone and weeping in the wilderness. Caution! Fussy Notes

This is the first of a set of sketches that I got together in June 2011 on Mandarake. The seller did not indicate which Kitarō series they came from, but thanks to help from Zack.Davisson and Brendan from The Obakemono Forum, I can now confirm the set as belonging to Kitarō 4 (1996).
