The crisis that led to the Power Transfer finally resolved, Yue returns to his false form, and in a quiet epilogue we see Yukito watching over the unconscious Touya with concern. Sequence number: A1 END (Yuki and Touya, plus the covers), unnumbered BOOK (the bed’s footboard).
This setup appeared on YJ without a lot of attention; certainly the cels leading up to the Transfer and immediately following it are the one most eagerly collected. Nevertheless, this moody image is still an unforgettable, well constructed conclusion to “The Scene.” Notice the iconic picture of the still life with peaches hanging on the wall above Yukito.
