This is one of my favorite cels, one of the precious snags that I managed to make during my first months bidding on Yahoo Japan through SMJ. Precious few cels from this cut have appeared on the market since then. I made the background on my computer from a frame capture. The douga is also extraordinarily beautiful.
Other cels from this famous scene have recently sold on Mandarake's Big Web Auction at top-level prices: The set-up for Cut 115 with both Syaoran and Sakura (just the back of her head) sold on August 20, 2020 for 500,000 JPY, and its pendant, the set-up for Cut 120, with Sakura and the back of Syaoran's head sold on July 17, 2020 for 295,000 JPY.
