This is the production background that went with the preceding layout. As the scene was filmed with a slight filter, to make the brightly-lit Sakura seem to be glowing with internal power, the background didn’t need to be more than a generic dark-woods image. This watercolor can stand on its own, however. The smeared colors and eerie purple shadows embody the nightmare world in which Sakura finds herself, thanks to creepy Eriol’s magic.
