Then Nakuru calls to Sakura, warning her that she's ready to shoot her part of the film. This wonderful SD portrait, with its spiky, "cubist" look (notice the little square eyes!) was actually why I went for this lot. As you can see from the screen cap, Tomoyo's hand and brush went to a B layer at this point, which I didn't get. No matter: it's a colorful and very funny addition to my portrait gallery.

This is another cut that Madhouse made more complex by having this key cel alternate with others to make Sakura seem to be "quivering" with panic. Angelic-Lair used to own a virtually identical B5 [A5?] END cel from this moment, and so there may be an A2 and A4 as well. (The main difference between the A3 and Angelic Lair's "B5" was that the latter does not have the jagged "shiver marks" alongside Sakura's face, which flicker on and off during the cut.)
