A nice bonus in this sketch set was this dramatic image, which shows an abrupt change of pace at the very end of “The Scene.” Sakura and Yue suddenly sense the mysterious presence that has been causing them trouble, and which we viewers know is caused by Eriol eavesdropping outside the window. The two dash to investigate, but by then Eriol has hopped up on the roof, commenting that he’s going to have to be more discreet from here on, now that Yue is fully empowered and his mistress is becoming more and more mature.

SENSEI CHECK!
An interesting detail, now just visible in this improved scan, is the stamp in blue ink seen between the top of Sakura's head and the tip of Yue's right wing. This is Mariko Fujita's personal animator's stamp, similar to those used by Shouko Ikeda in her rough sketches for Inuyasha. It is very faint here, but I've added a digitally darkened image of it in the first thumbnail, where you can see that it is a whimsical monkey along with a chick, with a barely legible hiragana inscription on top. This says, "Yoroshiku onegaishimasu," a very common Japanese expression that could mean simply, "It's nice to meet you" or "I hope we get along."
