Cut 103. This very effective genga shows a glimmer-eyed Sasami facing Amitav, as he finishes telling how her father alone stopped and pitied his other self, who had been made the innocent scapegoat for the witches' evil feelings. Sensing for the first time why the supernatural being she loves is so inseparably attached to her father, she cannot help tearing up for a moment.
