Having added lovely portraits of the other two knights in vulnerable moments, I wanted to get a really good facial close-up of Fuu, and this one was everything I wanted. She's not as tearful as my other new cels, with the eyes suggesting more of a wistful "Why?" state of mind. But it's certainly an arresting expression.
The trace lines are profoundly faded, as usual with this highly reactive paint color, but in a way their softness makes Fuu's hair all the more insubstantial, like puffs of air.
