Finally, the "camera" comes in for a close-up of Gojyo's face, who initially still has his eyes closed. As the layout (thumbnail) shows, he's holding the Shakujo in front of his face. An extra genga layer (not imaged) showed the retracting chains pop the sickle end back in place.
Even with eyes closed, this is an impressive image of this character, relaxed with the cigarette dangling easily after his violent act.
