In the background of each of these images we see Dougan, slouched on the floor with one arm on something that looks like an incense burner on a stand. He's wearing his silver mask and evidently giving orders to the evil bogus clone he's summoned up. At the start of the cut, he's seen as a Myoga-sized speck in the back of a grand room. This is the B1 genga that shows him appearing more closely halfway through the cut.
The thumbnails show the two copy layouts that show the setting at the start of the cut and then how Dougan reappears midway through.
