From Gunlock, Episode 10, cut 43. After being rescued from a blizzard while taking a dangerous pass through the mountains, Sanzo awakens and rather roughly accosts a demon he finds bending over him. However, this turns out to be Yakumo, an (apparently) sane demon who is trying to live peaceably in the mountains and maintain a safe home for the children of other demons who have gone insane.
This pan genga, like many created by the Studio Pierrot studio, is amazingly refined, showing precise detail both in Yakumo's surprised and appreciative expression (he's saying "Man, but you're quick!") and in the folds of the tunic being clutched tightly by Sanzo's right hand.
