Here he takes a big step toward the viewer, finishing his move. This huge genga really needs to be seen in person to be appreciated; the eyes are especially gripping. It came with a smaller rough sketch (first thumbnail) that worked out the outlines of his posture and expression, along with an exceptionally finished and handsome layout (second thumb) that shows off Sanzo's sweatdrops more prominently.
