From Reload, episode 17, cut 115. Sanzo staggers forward, holding his gun and looking especially haggard because he has just narrowly averted having his soul sucked out into the boy-demon Kinkaku's gourd. (My thanks to Vapalla for this identification.)
This is the first of three extremely impressive pan gengas, showing Sanzo in one of his most characteristic postures: notice how cleverly the foreshortening is done so that he really does seem to be poking the gun into the viewer's face. The ragged look on his face, however, makes this set special.
The thumbnail takes you to an especially expressive rough sketch that works out the challenging character pose: hard work, but typical of Pierrot's all-out approach to animating this series.
