This background is similar in style to "Blood Forest" in that the image is worked up from ominous, cloud-like globs of dark, with with light blue highlights added to make moonlit leaves. The deep blues and sharp highlights indicate one of the scenes in Ahiru is in her Princess Tutu role. From cut 229 (episode not yet identified).
Ginga’s Anime Galactica has another nighttime background showing a similar line of trees.
