Finally Eros practically collapses with the conflict, at one point saying that he can't bring himself to betray his mistress's privacy, at another crying that he can't resist his curiosity either. And now, to his horror (see screen caps), the dresser not only glows and shakes, but it actually begins to hop up and down.
