The two creatures watch in shock as their companion accosts Popo, whom he has mistaken for his former “mother” figure Xian. At first they both stare at the out-of-control puppet, then, here, they start to turn toward each other with bewildered expressions.
This cel showed unusual care, with kabuse layers ordered for minor details of both creatures’ costumes. I got both dougas, but imaged only the one for Bu (on the right) as Mu’s douga was a partial.
