If you're one of the remaining Beta Open House visitors, I thank you for helping, not just me, but many other curators upgrade their galleries.
However, I've already made some major changes based on comments from the first sets of suggestions. Among these are:
1. A new "Quick Gallery Tour" that provides a broad overview of my collection on one page, then introduces each of the series that I collect, one page per series, with links to individual galleries off of these.
2. A new "About" page that provides some insights into the principles that I used in developing this gallery and what it's intended to do.
3. A "Quirky Gallery Tour" with a theme that will change from time to time, that's intended to direct visitors to interesting parts of my gallery that are not as frequently visited as my CCS galleries (which currently generate 96% of my most-clicked items).
4. A more selective approach to displaying art that limits the visible contents of galleries to one (or, in a few cases, two) screens of 24 images each. The "hidden" items (mostly related sketches and sequence-mates of visible items) are still live and can be viewed by aficionados by going to "Private Area" and typing in "seemorestuff."
